Not played an incredible amount into the game yet (only about 7hrs) but I would say if you were looking for immersion into the game world like Far Cry 2, then you won't find it here, sadly. The gameplay is fun, guns feel nice to use and the takedowns are interesting, if a little repetitive if you go completely stealth. Far Cry 3 is a very mediocre game. I picked it up because I heard it was the best the series had to offer and the only thing worth while about it was the gameplay. Everything else was boring and uninteresting. If that’s the one people regard as the best in the series, Far Cry must fuckin suck

I played some part of Far Cry 2. Couldn't find the time to finish it but I liked. Is Far Cry 3 better or worse? Where should I put my money?
If you bought the Deluxe Edition, no DLC will show up in the DLC tab. Instead, you need to check the CD Key tab and if the game says "Far Cry 3 - Deluxe Key" then you've got the Deluxe Edition, which is basically the regular game plus the new deluxe DLC. #6. deusfaux Nov 13, 2014 @ 2:43pm. I can't really say whether YOU will find it enjoyable, I found it hilarious and well-done satire. I love those cheesy action movies though! Yes! It is hella enjoyable, it's a lot of fun. You feel like the terminator in every sci fi NES game rolled up into one. Honestly, I didn’t like it.
